Bel Air Auto Auction is looking for a Full Time employee to work in the Title Department.
Responsibilities
- Process titles for vehicles sold at the auction
- Examine titles for accuracy and acceptance by state for which it is filed
- Determine negotiability of titles and resolve title issues
- Maintain knowledge of local DMV laws and regulations by state related to vehicle titles.
- Customer Service - waiting on customers at the counter and assisting with questions.
- May have to travel to Department of Motor Vehicle from time to time for titles.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
Qualifications
- 2 years experience in Automotive/Auction industry or at Dept. of Motor Vehicles
- Working knowledge of title processing and applicable state laws regarding vehicle titles
- Notary seals and stamps preferred
- Effective communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching
- Ability to type on a keyboard and perform data input.
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to talk on the telephone.
