What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Intelligence Architect position at BSD Business Consulting?
Job Locations : Tampa or Dallas (preferred)

Role : Contract to Hire
Requirements :
- Over 10 years of experience managing BI platforms (Power BI, Looker, Amazon Quicksight).
- Expertise in platform architecture design and implementation, including Power BI Service administration and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in Python, Shell, and PowerShell scripting for automation solutions; experience with APIs for admin function automation.
- Strong knowledge of security configurations using Active Directory, Azure AD, and Ping Federate; experience with OAuth and SAML for SSO.
- Familiarity with defining SDLC and CI / CD processes using Jenkins and integrating Looker with Git.
- Experience in data modeling (Kimball), ETL development, and using database tools like Snowflake, Oracle, and SQL Server.
- Capability to integrate Power BI with tools such as Splunk, Collibra, and ServiceNow.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for blending business requirements with technology solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead complex projects.
- Experience managing Power BI Gateways and building CI / CD pipelines for Power BI assets.
- Ability to train users and promote self-service BI practices, while providing support for a large user base and troubleshooting production issues.
- Provide leadership on best practices for BI development and mentor team members.
