What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tooling Engineer Lead position at BSD Business Consulting?
MUST HAVE
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- 15 years’ experience in the Injection molding industry with focus on tool design.
- 10 years in supervisory and management capacity.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience with large-scale machinery and tooling for high-capacity production environments.
- Direct hands-on experience in Mold design and construction is a must.
- Experience with 3D modelling software. (SolidWorks)
- Ability to read and interpret Moldflow analyses.
- Experience in working with various Mold material and metal types.
- Advanced experience in both cold runner and hot runner manifold systems.
- Experience collaborating with teams of engineers and technicians.
- Experience of plastics manufacturing processes including injection molding, extrusion, blow Mold, thermoform and others.
- Experience in working with various polymers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Travel is a critical part of this role and can be every week depending on situation.
