SUMMARY
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for preparing, refining, and tracking expense reporting to ensure accuracy and accountability. The ideal candidate possesses superior organization and time management skills with a proven track record of multitasking on timely projects. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate strong independent reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills and will approach work across various internal departments with a collaborative and proactive mentality.
The Financial Analyst reports directly to the Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Collaborate on the buildout of the annual enterprise budget and reforecast
- Preparation of departmental expense tracking reports
- Lead monthly meetings with department heads to go over financial results
- Review accuracy of data entered into ERP system to align to budget
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist in tracking performance against budgets and business plans, making recommendations for modifications as appropriate
- Exposure to suite, sponsorship and ticket sales revenue reporting
- Assist in creating and updating financial reports that are distributed to senior leadership
- Perform reporting as needed, including excel modeling, management reporting dashboards, etc.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Sports Management, Economics, or Business Management required.
- 1-3 years minimum experience in an analytical finance role; comprehensive understanding of financial analysis with the ability to evaluate and communicate strategic implications
- Experience in Workday Adaptive and NetSuite a plus.
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel proficiency, including but not limited to nested formulas, pivot tables, and lookup functions
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Flexibility to work the hours needed to meet deadlines
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Infrequent Traveler (<5% travel): The incumbent may be required to travel on a very limited basis. Trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay away from home for one or more nights.
SALARY RANGE
$65,000 - $80,000 base salary

This role is based in our corporate headquarters in Brooklyn. You may be expected to occasionally attend events taking place on evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
