SUMMARY
The Applications Manager oversees software applications, including administration, onboarding, license management, troubleshooting, testing, and ensuring alignment with business needs. We are seeking an experienced applications manager to enhance workflows, automations, and operations. This role involves regular evaluation of technology with the technology department. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter, team player, and demonstrates excellent work ethic and customer success through technology.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Oversee enterprise collaboration tools, developing and executing strategies to ensure effective implementation, integration, and optimization for organizational productivity.
- Manage all stages of application lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Train end-users on new and existing applications, ensuring smooth adoption and providing troubleshooting as needed.
- Deploy applications like Microsoft 365, Monday.com, Slack, Zoom One, and others. This includes upgrades, patches, and enhancements to minimize disruption to business operations.
- Identify and resolve any issues with applications promptly to reduce downtime and maintain productivity.
- Oversee and manage the deployment of licenses in alignment with business use cases, managing applications consistently with budget.
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure compliance with security standards and data protection regulations.
- Stay informed about current trends and advancements in application management and technology.
- Work in close collaboration with the Vice President of Information Technology to ensure that applications meet business requirements.
- Setup and support of game day technology during Brooklyn Nets, New York Liberty, LI Nets games, and other assigned duties.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in managing enterprise applications and collaboration tools.
- Advanced certifications in relevant technologies are a plus.
- 5 years of experience in managing applications, including administration, installation/deployment, training, and support.
- Technical proficiency with at least some of the following applications: Slack, Monday.com, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Active Directory, Zoom Workplace, and Adobe Suite.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Infrequent Traveler (<5% travel): The incumbent may be required to travel on a limited basis. Travel may include trips between Barclays Center, HSS Training Center, and other company properties.
SALARY RANGE:
$85,000 - $120,000
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This person will need the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Works primarily in an office environment but upon request will be expected to attend games and other events on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
