BSE Global is seeking a highly professional and organized individual with proven experience in coordinating accurate and timely completion of payroll preparation and maintenance activities. The candidate must possess a detailed understanding of payroll regulations and practices as well as excellent mathematical, communication, multi-tasking and organizational skills. Under general direction and supervision, this position is responsible for payroll preparation, reporting, and auditing on a monthly basis. This position reports to the Payroll Manager.

What You Will Do
- Act as the first point of contact for the hourly payroll function across multiple pay groups and FEINs, including running occasional hourly per diem.
- Train new hourly employees and people managers in time management for timesheets.
- Review and update direct deposit for active and new employees.
- Communicate deadlines and payroll training materials to managers and employees.
- Maintaining the hourly payroll schedule for the company within UKG / UltiPro.
- Independently own communications with the payroll provider on system-related hourly payroll items.
- Ensure timely preparation of hourly payroll in accordance with labor regulations and standard accounting principles for finalized processing by the Senior Payroll Manager.
- Process or prepare salaried payroll, including salaried per diem, when assigned; assist in the auditing of salaried payroll.
- Prepare semi-monthly payroll contribution reports for review and funding by the Sr. Payroll Manager.
- Process reports when requested by Finance department.
- Maintaining paystub listing for Players and Player authorization listing
- Track metropolitan commuter transportation mobility tax for compliance
- Update Garnishments as they arrive and maintain current company listing.
- Collaborate on payroll projects and process improvements, always leading with superior customer service.
- Address employees' payroll-related concerns and provide accurate payroll information upon request.
- Contribute to projects related to a new hourly timekeeping system, including implementation and employee / manager training.
- Collaborate with the HR department on payroll-related matters such as new hires, terminations, merit increases, benefits and change of status for validating employees' information within the payroll system for data integrity purposes.
- Maintain organized files of payroll support and reporting requests.
- Participate in audit projects for payroll compliance.
What You Will Bring
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-5 years processing payroll required
- Must have direct experience working with payroll processing software; knowledge of UltiPro system is preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience dealing with financial and numerical data
- Possess an analytical viewpoint and can translate internal business questions into relevant HR and payroll reporting
- Can effectively communicate issues and concerns to the Senior Payroll Manager and staff
- Keen attention to detail, strong conflict resolution, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Strong organizational skills as well as ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and within tight deadliness while producing quality and consistent work
- Flexible and reliable standout colleague, always acting in the best interest of their department and the company as a whole
- Ability to create and maintain productive, positive relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent planning and prioritization skills to handle extensive lists of tasks involved in a pay cycle accurately and timely
