Job Summary
The Security Technician is responsible for tasks associated with the installation of Access
Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Systems. The job description listed herein is a basis of design and is not all inclusive.
Responsibilities
➢ Install CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion hardware cabling, and other forms of cabling as technology continues to evolve.
➢ Assist in testing of installed equipment and provide basic programming, such as, adding card readers, cameras, and alarm points to any system.
➢ Assist in performing preventive maintenance and repair as per a client maintenance agreement and/or warranty.
➢ Assist in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing systems and/or equipment.
➢ Position requires technician to participate in an on-call rotation schedule. Technician would be available to answer client calls after normal working hours and on weekend/holidays depending on the rotation order.
➢ Responsible for updating team lead on the status of all work performed daily.
➢ Notify team lead daily of any materials needed to complete duties.
➢ Perform additional Security Technician and related functions as assigned by the team lead and deemed within the general skill and ability level of a productive Security Technician in our industry.
➢ Install flat panel televisions and connect basic television devices i.e., DVD, Sound Bar, Surround
Sound, Streaming Devices, or other connectivity devices.
➢ Pre-wire/Trim-out homes with complete activation of accounts
➢ Provide Customer technical support during or after business hours.
➢ Occasional weekend work

➢ Demonstrate PC literacy and proficiency with email systems, Microsoft Office
Suite, and ConnectWise
➢ Ability to work weekends and evenings including afterhours shifts.
➢ Bend & Lift Continuously up to 50 LBS
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
