Your Responsibilities
Directs and oversees an organization’s Logistics, Demand Planning and Order Management Steering function. Develops policies and procedures related to the demand planning, order management, storage, freight, and distribution of goods and services, as well as the performance of the supply chain operations their key strategic initiatives and IT requirements. Defines business plans and budgeting to ensure the adequate availability of resources and the achievement of the strategic and operational targets of the area. Responsible for the overall performance and management support, steering the direction and coordination of North America’s Logistics, Demand Planning and Order Management activities. Drives innovation processes and oversees the strategic projects and their milestones. Responsible for the KPI development, implementation and improvement. Responsible for global strategy alignment and project coordination.

- Responsible for the performance control of the Logistics, Demand Planning and Order Management Steering operations.
- Design and development of a result-oriented strategy, with permanent focus on a continuous improvement in alignment with the operational departments and the Regional Head of Supply Chain.
- Definition of business plan and budgeting to ensure the adequate availability of resources and the achievement of the strategic and operational targets of the area.
- Initiates and promotes the Logistics, Demand Planning and Order Management Steering performance and ratio activities, from the outbound from the RNA factories all the way to the final mile delivery of the goods to our customers
- Reinforces the use of the BSH SP (Steering and Processes) Network monitoring, enforcing the BSH standard Supply Chain KPIs and any other reports needed to identify and report achievements and business developments
- Supports calculation of business cases and scenarios as needed, to enable effective decision making when multiple alternatives are possible
- Develops and implements processes to assure business continuity and permanent improvements
- Defines and controls measures to improve BSH's competitive position in relation to supply chain performance (KPI2, logistic costs)and cost positioning
- Pursuit of a positive attitude towards competitiveness of the purchasing functions via cost-oriented and benchmarking approaches.
- Information Management – Achieves integrated tools for the organization and improvement of the value in the Logistics, Demand Planning and Order Management Steering value chain.
- Personnel Development – Defines, implements and supports the working guidelines and systems to ensure the performance and support the development of the Logistics, Demand Planning and Order Management Steering personnel.
- Initiates Group contacts on a permanent basis (meetings, conferences) with the group leaders and specialists of the group for defining the strategic direction and the action plan for the Logistics, Demand Planning and Order Management Steering area.
- Promotes the use of the existing BSH Networks in the Logistics, Demand Planning and Order Management Steering area.
- Initiates cost and process improvement projects and controls their success and progress in the Logistics, Demand Planning and Order Management Steering area.
- Performs all other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration) – Required
- Master's Degree (Business Administration) – Preferred
- 7-10 Years of Experience (Logistics and Supply Chain with an emphasis on a technical background) – Required
- 5-7 Years of Experience (Managing) – Required
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal BSH team members and external customers.
- A general understanding of the BSH general business process, as well as the BSH Logistics, Demand Planning and Order Management Steering process and standards.
