Your Responsibilities
Continuously improve value streams for parts and components related to the quality of BSH dishwashers. Analyze, inspect and manage improvement projects related to supplied electronic and electro-mechanical components. Design, build, and/or maintain electrical/electronic equipment to include but not limited to test equipment and parts. Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills using wire diagrams, part drawings and specifications required. This position is accountable for aspects of supplier administration to ensure that BSH receives quality parts.
The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.

Quality Technician III

Your Responsibilities
Continuously improve value streams for parts and components related to the quality of BSH dishwashers. Analyze, inspect and manage improvement projects related to supplied electronic and electro-mechanical components. Design, build, and/or maintain electrical/electronic equipment to include but not limited to test equipment and parts. Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills using wire diagrams, part drawings and specifications required. This position is accountable for aspects of supplier administration to ensure that BSH receives quality parts.
- Maintain and troubleshoot electronic/electrical parts and test equipment to resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Work with Production, Final audit, Inspectors, and assembly team to determine status of suspect parts.
- Initiate supplier communications relevant to quality disruptions, nonconformance that may also include RMA requests and request for sorting authorizations.
- Investigate root cause and implement supplier corrective action reports (8D); monitor supplier performance to ensure corrective actions are sustainable and implemented in a timely fashion.
- Minimize effects of quality disruptions and exercise proper containment that may include line sorting and/or warehouse inspections of materials, parts or components for non-conformance.
- Perform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling of incoming parts, materials and components; record data as required.
- Prepare documentation and procure new electronic equipment from schematic designs including selection and layout of components as well as circuit testing and debugging.
- Coordinate and maintain records of rejected parts returned from the assembly line.
- Maintain the documentation for existing equipment and machinery.
- Setup and manage data acquisition system.
- Summarize test data results, plot data in graphic form and present to management, other stakeholders as required.
- Assist engineers and others in understanding the tests and data.
- Contribute/assist with implementation and maintenance of BSH Production Systems tools.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to investigate and reduce First Pass Yield (FPY) issues.
- Assist on Technical Call Rate (TCR) reduction projects.
- Support line-return analysis procedures and provide measurement support.
- Look up inspection requirements for all supplied parts per check/work instructions.
- Provide proper training for all positions in the area, including methods, quality, safety, productivity, etc.
- Perform required paper work such as SPC, PDF, quality checks, etc for the quality group.
- Cooperates with other individuals and groups as necessary.
- Support customer returned parts analysis and data entry of analysis results I SAP (not inclusive of material associated with property damage claims).
- Ensure rejected parts from the assembly line are given proper disposition in SAP.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- High-School Diploma – Required
- 10 Years of Experience (Technical Manufacturing Environment) – Required
- Perform duties with minimal supervision, handle multiple tasks and be prompt in meeting deadlines.
- Working knowledge of ISO, FMEA, 8D, and SPC.
- Good understanding of factory and environmental safety.
- Experience with gages and electrical/electronic test equipment.
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills and be able to communicate with a wide spectrum of people from auditors to upper management.
- Strong personal computer skills.
- Skill in the use of standard electronic shop tools and instruments.
- PC workstation, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, SAP
