We are looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join our team and support our EHS department at a client site in the Gaithersburg, MD area.
In this role, you will assist with laboratory inspections, observe, document, and investigate unsafe work conditions. You will work with laboratory personnel to develop JHAs and determine project-specific hazards and risks.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe workplace.
- Conduct risk assessments and create/document corrective and preventative actions to mitigate hazards and risks.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in scientific or EHS related field, prior consulting or EHS experience, and familiarity with risk assessment and accident investigations.
