WORK HOURS Monday – Friday, 5 : 00AM – 1 : 00PM

Full Time Team members work 8-hour shifts for 40 hours per week. Shift times may vary, and extra hours may be added to your schedule to ensure we fulfill our commitments to customers.

Peak Season (July-December) Requirements

Mandatory overtime which may include some Saturdays and Sundays .

BSN Sports, A Varsity Achievement Brand, is looking to hire a Warehouse Associate, QC Shipper, ensure products are stocked, selected, packed, and shipped to customers. You’ll work in one of the following roles : Picking, Packing, Shipping, Inventory. General responsibilities include :

Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders in spoken English, ensuring clarity and understanding.
Participate in meetings, discussions, and presentations requiring proficient spoken English skills.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing valuable insights and feedback in English.
Great attention to detail and organization skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Computer literate with knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to work in a structured and process-oriented environment
Ability to multi-task and problem solve
Learn tasks quickly, accuracy driven, personable, team oriented, and punctual with excellence in attendance.
Ability to add, subtract multiply and divide numbers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Receives incoming materials and compares information on work order to verify accuracy.

Inspect shipments for damage or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor.

Ensure correct boxes are used, as per customer specifications.

Traces lost shipments and / or customer claims of lost shipments initiate proof of delivery documents.

May operate dolly, pallet jack, may operate shrink wrap machine.

Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety standards.

Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Receivers are responsible for the cleanliness of their work area during production and at each shift end. Floors need to be swept; all trash should be picked up and empty boxes need to be properly disposed of. You must wear the proper personal protective equipment, (if required), while working in the shipping area.

Read and comprehend documents, instructions, and correspondence in English to perform job duties efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

Minimum one year of Quality experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Basic blueprint reading skills.

Moderate understanding of quality control standards and techniques.

2 years in-depth SAP experience

Learn tasks quickly, is detailed, accuracy driven, personable, team oriented, and punctual with excellent attendance.

Read and comprehend documents, instructions, and correspondence in English to perform job duties efficiently.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as a team.

Ability to multi-task and work efficiently.

Strong time management and attention to timelines.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

HS Diploma or GED (required)

1 - 2 years’ experience in a warehouse / manufacturing setting

Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a bonus

Proficient with Microsoft Office, with extensive experience with Microsoft Excel

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience.

Operational, Warehouse, Logistics or comparable experience preferred.
