Accounts Receivable Specialist (Remote)

Accounts Receivable Specialist

Under direct supervision of the Accounts Receivable Manager, the Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for completing the day-to-day activities relating to Cash Application. This role will work cross functionally with Account Services, Sales, Accounting, Credit and Customer Service to ensure timely processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor group mailbox daily for incoming credit card payments.
• Process manual credit card requests received via fax, email & phone.
• Provide receipt confirmation upon completion.
• Reconcile refunds with payments updating order details as needed.
• Create fundraiser credits and credit memos for open My Team Shop balances.
• Initiate refunds for pre-existing fundraiser credits per policy and procedure.
• Answer inbound queue calls and resolve customer concerns.
• Monitor BSN Billing general mailbox and resolve incoming requests.
• Complete online registration set ups for BSN Billing.
• Set customers up on electronic invoicing.
• Process requests within departmental Service Level Agreements (SLA).

Minimum Requirements

• The ideal candidate must have 3-5 years of work experience in cash application/accounts receivable.
• High volume cash application and credit card processing experience.
• Account reconciliation experience.
• Ability to work independently, self-starter and a team player.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond to changing demands. Must be committed and responsive to firm deadlines.
• ERP experience required, SAP experience is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). Strong knowledge of Excel required) v-look ups, filters and pivot tables.

Education

• Associates degree preferred.
