Job Description:
The Manufacturing Engineer Leader will oversee the entire engineering process, from product design to manufacturing. This includes leading a team of engineers and other staff members, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and implementing Lean Manufacturing Methodology to increase productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with the Manufacturing Engineer Manager to ensure alignment with company objectives
- Lead the Engineering staff and others assigned to their area, focusing on Development of Engineers and site KPIs
- Provide engineering support to sales and customers to develop products within the company's capabilities
- Direct the work of Manufacturing Engineer assistants, Manufacturing Engineers, and other resources assigned to the department
- Make decisions independently and consult with management if necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or technical field with 3 years' experience or Associates Degree with 5 years' experience or 7 years' experience in an engineering or technical field
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel for extended periods
