Armed Special Police Officer (SPO) - CFTC
Armed SPOs shall perform all tasks in accordance with the duties outlined within the Post Orders, which are prepared by the Office of Safety and Security for all shifts on each post. Some of the duties include but are not limited to :
- Access Control Package Screening (X-Ray Machine)
- Personnel screening (Hand Wands / Magnetometers)
- Traffic Control Visitor processing
- Vehicle inspection
- Communications and dispatching
- Patrol Operations
- Emergency and event response
- Correctly attired in uniform, equipment, and grooming.
