Business Technology Integrators (BTI) in Upper Marlboro, MD is seeking an Experience Project Manager with an Active TS Clearance this position will be located in Washington DC or Germantown MD
Experience:
The Project Manager should have experience in planning, organizing, directing, and controlling overall activities of a project, including project management, technical work, requirements traceability, quality management, schedule, costs, risk management, and knowledge management. Individual must demonstrate knowledge in earned value management systems.
Capture project metrics via program and project exhibits to communicate information technology contract performance.
Experience delivering exhibits including information technology project plans that communicate tasks, milestone dates, status, resource allocation, and associated costs.
IT project planning activities also includes working closely and provide input to Federal oversight IT program/task manager regarding technical approach and associated level-of-effort, technical trade-offs and Return-On-Investment (ROI) information, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and alignment of technical activities to organizational IT roadmap activities.
Experience leading knowledge management (KM) practices for development, operations, and maintenance of enterprise systems for consistency across projects to achieve continuous knowledge management through a metrics-based feedback loop and improve cycle times for IT product and service delivery.
Experience supporting enterprise IT Portfolio Management planning activities for lifecycle management requirements for organizational IT products and services, including aligning cost reporting for all program areas using IT support services.
Experience providing technical input for annual labor requirements, and software licensing and maintenance requirements for steady state operations and lifecycle management.
Experience providing technical input to support organizational assessments and data calls.
The individual will anticipate problems and risks and will work to mitigate them.
The individual monitors each task and regularly briefs program/task management orally and in writing, concerning problems encountered and accomplishments.
The individual evaluates staff performance and reviews work products on a daily basis.
The individual is responsible for keeping time and budget commitments for the organization.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Information Technology or similar degree.
The Project Manager should have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in information technology of which at least eight years will be in managing information technology contract performance.
Certifications: GIAC Certified Project Manager (GCPM) or equivalent.
