Job responsibilities:
- Assist in the coordination and execution of weddings from start to completion.
- Managing each couple's wedding planning timeline and ensuring we stay on top of each planning process phase.
- Research vendors in new markets and staying updated on wedding trends.
- Coordinate logistics including venue setup, décor, catering, and entertainment.
- Provide on-site support during weddings to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintain detailed records and timelines to track progress and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Contribute creative ideas for themes, designs, and unique elements to enhance each event.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in event planning or hospitality, preferably with a focus on weddings.
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in assistant work, project management, or wedding/event planning.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with high attention to detail, strong ability to trouble shoot or think outside of the box for any effective solutions needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, and google shared drives/docs.
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required by event schedules.
- A passion for weddings and a genuine desire to create memorable experiences for clients.
