BTS Software Solutions is seeking a Data Scientist to perform data and computer science analysis in support of customer operations.
Primary Location : Annapolis Junction, MD
Secondary Locations : Augusta, GA, San Antonio, TX, Oahu, HI, Various locations
Clearance Requirement : TS / SCI with Poly
Skills and Experience You'll Bring :
- Experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics : regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering etc.
- Coding knowledge and experience with various languages : Python, Java, C, C
- Experience as a Data Scientist working to support single or multiple domain areas
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
- A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.

Education and Experience :
Entry level positions require an Associate's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree and 5 years, or a Master's Degree plus 3 years of relevant experience. Higher positions require up to and including an Associate's degree plus 13 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree and 11 years of relevant experience OR a Master's Degree and 9 years of relevant experience.
Pay Range : $160,000-$240,000
