We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will provide chairside assistance to the dentist during dental procedures, perform various administrative tasks, and ensure a clean and sterile environment.
Duties :
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures by handing instruments, maintaining suction, and providing patient comfort
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available
- Take and develop dental x-rays using digital imaging software
- Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation, including patient charts and treatment records
- Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar using Eaglesoft or similar software
- Take and record vital signs of patients as needed
