JOB DESCRIPTION – SENIOR BRAND STRATEGIST
As Senior Brand Strategist, you will serve as the liaison between our clients and our team. This position is responsible for nurturing client relationships and interpreting their branding and marketing needs. Your role will focus on executing and managing the brand strategy and messaging for your assigned clients, to deliver more profitable sales. Through collaboration, service, empathy and true brilliance you will develop a trusting relationship with each client. As their Brand Strategist you align your strategies to deliver successful campaigns, meaningful creative, and tactics that build their sales.
Objectives of this Role
· Act as the main point of contact for each assigned client with the goal of building and maintaining lasting relationships.
· Develop an understanding of each client’s business goals and challenges to deliver tailored strategies and solutions to drive sales
· Develop and present strategic marketing plans, including timelines, budgets, and expected outcomes
· Lead project management for each client, ensuring that their deliverables are executed effectively and on time.
· Dive in deep understand each of your client’s business, how it operates, how it makes money, what are their strategic initiatives. As a Brand Strategist you will need to anticipate their needs and ensure our work meets their goals
· You will be the steward of their Central Brand Message (CBM), ensuring that content and creative adhere to their CMB and brand guidelines
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Creating brand campaign strategy and messaging
· Presenting and collaborating with clients to refine strategy and gain buy-in and approvals
· Run and facilitate a BTY Brand Mapping Session and produce and create a client’s Central Brand Message
· Adhere to all regularly scheduled client meetings to review creative, discussing ongoing projects, address budget changes, and build relationships to extend their engagement with BTYcreative
· Communicate project requirements with team members and collaborate on creative solutions
· Oversee client projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and milestones are established and meet for each project
· Offering input on creative strategy while fostering creative ideation
· Building/designing strategy plans and support strategic partners with paid media plans to promote and grow business for clients
· Building and managing campaigns across multiple platforms, digital and traditional
· Collaborate with strategic partners to support the needs of clients, this includes paid media, promotional items, signage, etc.
· Managing email marketing campaigns through the development of copy, template design, and strategic content planning.
· Oversee client’s social media by developing content and monthly social calendar. This could include posting content, responding to comments, managing artwork, getting approvals and more
· Crafting brand website strategies and copy, proactively creating content to optimize digital brand footprint
· Reporting on campaigns with analytics metrics that are relevant and understandable to the client
SALES and BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
· Participate in prospect calls and presentations
· Prepare scopes of work and project-based proposals
· Ideate and provide new ideas to promote BTYcreative
· Support development of BTYcreative monthly email through content development, idea generation and build out if needed
· Attend networking events and/or customer events, when needed
REQUIREMENTS
· 10 years of experience in a creative agency or serving as a director of marketing
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in marketing, branding, or related field
· Demonstrated experience in account management or client management
· A deep understanding of branding and messaging principles
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a proficiency in grammar and spelling
· Understanding of Google Analytics and paid media analytics
· Strong working knowledge and understanding of paid media; how it is purchased, available channels, and awareness of cost and targeting abilities across each channel
· Working understanding of social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, and Snapchat
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft and Apple office suite products, including PowerPoint and Keynote
· Experience in managing marketing budgets or budgeting
· Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with a strong creative approach
· Proficiency in project management with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
· Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
· Self-starter, while being coachable and a continuous learner
· Strong attention to detail, even amid competing priorities, regardless of project size
· Strong interpersonal skills to manage ongoing client relationships
- Our regular business hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Fridays are typically remote work days, depending on client needs. Occasionally, there may be times when working outside these hours is needed, we appreciate a flexible approach when possible.
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
