We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle cash transactions will be crucial in this fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and answering questions about the menu.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
- Handle cash register operations, including processing payments and managing cash handling accurately.
- Assist in brewing coffee or tea as required for beverage service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to support catering events or special functions as necessary.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders in a busy environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales transactions.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage with customers effectively.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older, as required by law.
