We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dining Room Server to join our team. As a Dining Room Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering outstanding service and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems, while providing menu recommendations.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring that all items meet our quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils between guests.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining guest satisfaction.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, enhancing guest relations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines and sanitation practices to uphold health standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in the hospitality or food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is essential; training will be provided as necessary.
- Experience with POS systems, particularly OpenTable, is a plus but not mandatory.
