Overview
The primary job of Loss Prevention is to protect assets by ensuring compliance with internal control procedures and regulations through store inspections and supervision of assigned employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct walk-throughs of designated areas, including main doors, restrooms, building perimeter, fueling positions, and property perimeter.
- Serve as a conflict resolution agent in the event of customer disputes.
- Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings and equipment, and controlling access.
- Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
- Direct traffic flow and maintain order.
- Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work on the store's busiest days.
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night shifts.
- Maintain regular and prompt attendance.
- Effectively and efficiently complete tasks.

- Adapt to a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and perform other duties as business needs require.
Position Requirements:
- Prior experience in retail, customer service, law enforcement, or loss prevention is preferred.
- Must be a licensed Peace Officer.
- Able to perform prolonged walking or standing for 8-12 continuous hours.
- Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, balancing, pushing, pulling, and lifting of products weighing up to 40 pounds.
