Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic To-go Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the vital link between our restaurant and our guests who prefer to enjoy their meals at home or on the go. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all to-go orders are processed accurately and delivered with exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for providing excellent guest experiences.
Duties
- Accurately take and process to-go orders using the Aloha POS system.
- Communicate effectively with guests over the phone and in-person, ensuring clarity in order details.
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting guests with menu selections and answering any questions they may have.
- Ensure all food items are prepared and packaged correctly for takeout, maintaining quality and presentation standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the to-go area, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues related to their orders or dining experience.
- Uphold restaurant policies regarding food safety and sanitation.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and effective communication techniques.
- Experience using point-of-sale systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $13.82 per hour
