We are currently seeking Expeditor/Food Runners for our busy upscale casual Italian Restaurant. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, great time management, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of food orders
- Assist with some food preparation as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any customer inquiries or concerns
- Clear tables and assist with bussing as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Food Runner or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers, kitchen staff, and management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and culinary techniques is beneficial
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in delivering food orders
- Ability to work well within a team and contribute to a positive work environment
