RenXTech is seeking a Deputy Program Manager (DPM) who will support the Savage RenXTech Program Manager (PM) with the planning, organizing, directing and controlling of activities for a ~35 FTE client site program. The DPM will support the PM with staffing personnel management, and quality assurance of program performance to meet the scope requirements of the program. The DPM has full authority to act and manage all program matters in the event the PM is not available. This position is in addition to a full-time direct labor Savage role.
To keep breaking barriers and redefining what's possible, we’re looking for candidates with the following exceptional technical capabilities:
- The DPM to be accountable for leading teams, managing personnel and financial resources, and establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships;
- The DPM to assess the qualifications and performance of personnel;
- In the event the PM is not available, the DPM is responsible for the program’s performance and communication with the Sponsors’ Contracts team and individual team leads;
- In the event the PM is not available, the DPM must ensure that all contractor personnel meet the program requirements and work as a team with the Sponsor and/or other associate contractor personnel;
- In the event the PM is not available, the DPM is responsible for the delivery of all contract deliverables on time or ahead of schedule.
- A current performer on the Savage program in a position with less than 10% travel requirements
- Previous experience as a manager or team lead
- Experience working directly with a prime company or Sponsor management on programmatic and/or personnel issues
- Experience interviewing, staffing, and placing candidates, employees, and/or subcontractors on sub or prime programs
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Located in a separate facility from the current PM.
- PMP certified
- Willingness to pivot into a full-time position within 12-18 months pending contract growth
- Experience working with Sponsor on contracts related issues
- Experience delivering the following Contract Deliverables as a prime PM
- Monthly Contract Status Reports
- Program Management Reviews
- Level of Effort Certification
