What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Outside Sales position at Buchanan Automation Inc?
We are looking for a Technical Outside Sales Representative in the East Bay Area to help strengthen our relationships with our current client base and help build strong relationships with new clients. Our goal is to provide best in class service.

Duties
-Actively calling on existing clients in assigned territory
-Actively pursue new market share and new clients
-Developing a thorough understanding of clients’ business goals and objectives, operating systems, and manufacturing processes
-Build professional Relationships with decision-makers
-Quoting
-Reviewing client activities at least quarterly with Team Leader or Sales Manager and strategizing ways to maximize sales volumes or grow territory.
-Make 15-20 client visits weekly – utilizing both in person and virtual meetings
Requirements
Qualified candidates will have one of the following qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other technical field
-Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing and can demonstrate a strong mechanical/technical aptitude
-Associate degree in a related technical field and 5 years job experience
-5 years of industrial automation sales experience with proven history of success

Salary : $90,000 - $105,000
