What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Tech Help Desk Analyst position at Buchanan County Health Center?
- GENERAL DESCRIPTION
- The Information Technology Help Desk Analyst role is to ensure provide support to end users and escalate tickets to tier2/3 support. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands on help at the desktop level, which may involve trouble-shooting software, hardware, and network issues. Participate in rotating after hours/weekend on-call support. While on call must be within 30 minutes of the hospital. Occasional evening or weekend work as needed.
- EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- Associate’s degree in computer related field and/or equivalent of combination of education and experience.
- WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- One to Three years of experience within an IT field, preferred
Salary Range
$22.00 - $30.80
Location: Buchanan County Health Center · BC INFO TECH
Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift, Mon-Fri, 8:30 am-5:00 pm, hours may flex per department coverage, on-call rotation
