- GENERAL DESCRIPTION
- The Patient Financial Services Associate performs varied clerical accounting skills associated with patient accounts and insurance billing. Also includes patient account insurance follow-ups, self-pay balances and patient refunds.
- EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- Work requires knowledge of basic grammar and mathematical principles normally required through a high school education, with some postsecondary education preferred.
- Additional training or working knowledge of related business preferred.
- Knowledge of computers, printers, copy machines, adding machines, postage machines and fax machines.
- WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Two years of experience working in hospital finance, physician office or billing and collections or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Salary Range
$18.00 - $25.20
Location: Buchanan County Health Center · BC BUSINESS OFFIC
Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift, M-F, 7:30am-4pm (flexible hours)
