- GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Radiology Technologist Student has a variety of responsibilities, including patient care, clerical duties, and technical tasks. They will a ssist with imaging exams, patient check-in, transporting patients, scheduling exams, setting up imaging rooms, and stocking rooms. The student will explain exams to patients, observe patients to ensure their safety and comfort, maintain a clean and safe work environment. The student will work closely with the radiology team and may be assigned to work in a variety of imaging modalities.
- EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- Must be enrolled as a 2 nd year student in an accredited Radiologic Tech program.
- WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in a medical setting and customer service environment
- Knowledge of universal precautions and personal protective equipment
Salary : $18 - $25
