WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A CREW MEMBER/ PILOT CAR / REAR ESCORT FOR BUCHANAN
This position is critical to the safe transport of oversize loads. The successful candidate will assist in the transportation and delivery of goods for multi-axle trailers and dual lane transports. They will also assist the driver with loading, tarping and securement. This position does require extended travel over-the-road and can be out on the road for up to 6 weeks at a time. This opportunity is a perfect steppingstone for someone looking to obtain a CDL.
- Monday through Friday (Willing to travel up to 6 weeks at a time)
- Pilot car / escort
- Assist in deliveries for our Indiana Heavy Haul Division
- Load, Unload, and Secure Equipment
- Maintain Flexible Schedule for Travel
- Collaborate with Diverse Crews
- Adhere to Safety Protocols
THE BUCHANAN BENEFITS:
- Base Pay: $40,900 per year. Plus $100/day assignment pay (expected to work at least 261 days in the year) $50/per day in per diem.
- Payroll is directly deposited into your bank account WEEKLY.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experienced with Heavy Haul & Over Dimensional Escort Operations
- Mechanical experience preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 6 weeks at a time
- Valid Driver License with clean driving record
- Willingness to learn
- Proven track record of consistent employment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
