What You’ll Be Doing
As our Activities Director, you'll help create an engaging, supportive, and vibrant environment for our residents. Your days will be filled with creativity, meaningful interaction, and the kind of work that warms your heart.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and oversee a dynamic schedule of activities that support the physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being of each resident.
Hire, train, and support an outstanding activities team.
Customize programs to reflect the interests and abilities of our residents — including one-on-one and in-room experiences.
Maintain fun, inclusive, and culturally sensitive activity calendars.
Lead and empower Resident Council and coordinate volunteer involvement.
Document activity participation and progress in care plans.
Ensure the Activities department meets all federal, state, and company requirements.
You’re a Great Fit If You:
Have at least 2 years of experience in social or recreational programming, with at least 1 year in a healthcare setting.
Have completed a state-approved activity training program (or are willing to do so).
Preferably have a certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (bonus points!).
Know your way around a computer.
Are creative, compassionate, and genuinely enjoy connecting with others.
What to Expect
This is an active role — you’ll be on your feet, interacting with residents, leading activities, and sometimes assisting with mobility. You may occasionally be exposed to medical-related environments, but we’ll provide all the training and support you need.

Pay: $14.50 - $17.00 per hour
