Project Scope
This position supports an organization formed to streamline IT operations and reduce costs through consolidation of assets and resources. The initiative merges multiple hardware platforms, operating systems, databases, networks, and third-party/custom applications into a cohesive environment. The organization also manages technology procurement to:
- Standardize systems enterprise-wide
- Optimize operational efficiency
- Improve maintenance processes
- Ensure new products or services can be scaled and made available across all relevant agencies
Responsibilities
- Configure, code, test, debug, and enhance the LaGov system
- Identify and document resolutions for system issues, including writing clear plans and specifications
- Develop or modify conversion programs and interfaces, emphasizing data integrity and security authorizations
- Evaluate, analyze, and recommend solutions for production issues related to LaGov system implementations across various agencies
Mandatory Skills
- SAP Expertise: Proven experience with SAP systems, particularly proficiency in SAP ABAP programming
Desirable Skills
- SAP FI (Financials): Configuration, customization, and integration experience to optimize financial processes and maintain system accuracy
