POSITION TYPE: Full-time
Carriage House Cabinet Collection, a division of Buchheit, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented cabinet assembler. This is a full-time position based out of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri.
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a cabinet assembler, a qualified applicant is responsible for assembling wooden cabinets by following instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics, etc. They will ensure that all parts fit properly and are suitable as a finished cabinet. A candidate must be able read a tape measure, operate a drill, operate a pneumatic stapler properly, and use other basic hand tools, etc.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work with hands
- Ability to use hand and power tools - General carpentry knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to stand or walk on concrete for 8 hours
- Ability to lift 75 pound boxes regulary.
- Forklift experience is preferred
- Reliability/Dependability
- Detail oriented – this is especially important in cabinet assembly
- Willingness to learn
- Understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Demonstrate initiative and effective problem-solving skills within the scope of the position
- Safety awareness of anything that may be hazardous to employees or visitors
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings
