Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and determine their needs/wants to provide personalized product recommendations
- Advise customers on product utilization and care, answering any questions or concerns they may have
- Stock and recover merchandise, ensuring that products are displayed in an attractive and organized manner
- Keep work areas clean and organized, maintaining a safe and efficient workspace
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts as needed, demonstrating proficiency in these equipment
- Ensure proper signage is in place throughout assigned departments
- Use computer systems to check prices and inventory levels
- Assist with inventory preparation and create special orders as needed
- Maintain safety awareness, reporting any hazards or potential risks to management
- Promptly handle customer complaints, questions, or concerns in a professional and friendly manner
- Bring in carts from outside, maintaining a tidy and organized store environment
Requirements and Qualifications
- Friendly and outgoing personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of point-of-sale systems
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
