Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and engage them in conversation to determine their needs and preferences
- Recommend products or services based on customer needs and preferences
- Provide product knowledge and answer customer questions in a friendly and professional manner
- Stock and recover merchandise to ensure accurate inventory levels
- Keep work areas clean and organized to maintain a positive shopping environment
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts as needed to move merchandise
- Ensure proper signage is in place throughout assigned departments
- Use computer systems to check prices and inventory levels
- Assist with inventory preparation and special orders as needed
- Maintain a safe and healthy shopping environment by reporting any hazards or concerns to management
