About the Role

The Building Materials Associate will work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide personalized support throughout their shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions using a cash register and POS system
• Collect payment from customers and make change for cash transactions
• Give printed receipts and invoices to customers
• Refer customer complaints to management
• Safety awareness of potential hazards in the store
• Balance cash drawer
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Stock merchandise on shelves in building materials and hardware
