We are seeking a skilled sales associate to join our team at Buchheit Inc. As a sales associate, you will work closely with customers to provide them with product knowledge and maintain the visual appearance of the store.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide customers with product knowledge and answer any questions or concerns they may have
• Maintain the visual appearance of the store by managing store displays and keeping up with trends and competition
• Work closely with other team members to achieve sales goals and represent the store in a positive manner
• Utilize basic computer skills to check prices and inventories, and assist with inventory preparation
• Create special orders, as needed, and ensure proper signage is in place throughout assigned department
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts, as needed, and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements & Qualifications:
• Must be 21 years of age and have an up-to-date Firearm Owners Identification 'FOID' card to be considered for this position
• Knowledge of hunting and fishing is preferred
• Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills are required
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, in-person and over the phone, and demonstrate initiative and effective problem-solving skills within the scope of the position
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule and meet the physical demands of the job
