Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while managing reservations and seating arrangements. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage the reservation system and maintain an accurate waitlist.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about the menu, specials, and reservations.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints with professionalism.
- Utilize POS system for managing guest seating and orders efficiently.
- Support the team by helping with other duties as needed, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly , is a plus but not required.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
