Buck Lake Animal Hospital is a well-established, family-owned veterinary practice, offering exceptional care in routine medical services, in-house diagnostics, digital radiology, and boarding. As a Customer Service Representative (CSR), you will be the first point of contact for our clients, playing a pivotal role in shaping their experience with our hospital. You will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, addressing client inquiries, managing appointment scheduling, processing requests, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall client satisfaction. This position is essential to our team’s success and requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a strong passion for pets and people alike.
We are looking for candidate who has reception skills but are willing to train the right person.
Candidate should be self-motivated, detail oriented, organized, energetic, reliable and preferably have experience in an animal hospital setting. Must have the ability to multi task and handle multiple phone lines. We are a paper light practice, so knowledge of Avimark is a plus!
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Admitting and discharging patients
- Triaging telephone calls appropriately
- Accurately prepare and maintain medical records
- Acquiring previous medical records when necessary
- Responsible for taking in payments/refunds and balancing end of day financial transactions
- Knowledge of veterinary diseases and conditions
- Ability to properly explain veterinary procedures, diseases, medications, etc to clients
- Must be a team player
- Gathering patient history from clients
- Helping Doctors with notes
- Discussing medications & discharge instructions with owner
- Must be available to work well in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Interact with clients via phone, email, and in-person to provide information about products and services.
- Assist clients with orders, returns, and product inquiries.
- Resolve client complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate patient medical records and update information.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely resolution of issues.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
