Painter/Body Tech

Job Summary
We are seeking two new members for our team at Buck's Body Shop. A Painter and a Body man, to join our team, specializing in auto repair and painting. The ideal candidates will have a strong auto body repair background, with knowledge and experience with various painting techniques and tools. This role requires attention to detail, a passion for automotive aesthetics, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
• Apply paint using spray guns, brushes, or rollers to achieve a smooth finish.
• Conduct auto restoration tasks including fabrication and assembly of components. .
• Utilize hand tools and welding equipment for minor repairs and adjustments.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality standards are met throughout the painting process.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Assist in auto estimating by assessing the condition of vehicles and determining necessary work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in auto painting and/or body repair is preferred.
• Auto body repair knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Familiarity with sheet metal work and welding techniques is a plus.
• Proficient in using hand tools and painting equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
