Operational Leader Scope :
The Operational Leader (OL) is responsible for every aspect of associate development, customer loyalty, and dealership performance. The OL will be responsible for leading the entire dealership’s daily operations, managing store wide profitability, driving sales and service traffic, and facilitating communication throughout the organization to maximize the success of the business.
Responsibilities :
- The Executive Operational Leader will set the tone and expectations for the entire dealership. The OL will provide enthusiastic and effective leadership to develop highly productive and loyal associates.
- The OL will communicate and partner daily with the Departmental Leaders of the dealership via a structured, strategic format to ensure that every department is operating efficiently and profitably. Weekly communication with associates and manufacturer representatives will also occur.
- The OL will communicate and interact with the Operations Director daily via a virtual meeting each morning and an email summarizing activities / metrics at the end of their workday.
- This role will forge genuine relationships with associates, and their families through dinners and events.
- The OL will ensure that the dealership provides an excellent ownership experience to all customers. The ownership experience will be enhanced by in-store greetings, and special events held for groups within our customer base.
- This role will be an expert in dealership operations. The OL will complete NADA Dealership academy, if not already completed.
- The OL will create strategic plans to continuously improve the performance and the results of the dealership through increasing sales, maintaining proper gross profit margins, controlling expenses, and attaining manufacturer customer experience benchmarks and market penetration guidelines.
- This role is expected to work fifty-five (55) hours over five days weekly, including most Saturdays.
