Position Reports to:
Unit Service Team Lead
Position Summary:
The Data Entry Specialist provides support and service to customers through in person, telephone, and electronic communication, as well as office and secretarial support to ensure efficient operations of the organization.
Responsibilities:
· Provides support and service to Scouting Units through customer service and processing of related information.
· Provides support by performing any or all of the following duties: typing, filing, data entry, reception, copying, mail distribution, inventory control, customer service, or records management.
· Interacts with customers, internal and/or external, to supply information and support.
· Screen telephone calls and receives and directs visitors; resolves routine inquiries.
· Prepares correspondence, memoranda, reports, etc.
· Receipting of transactions for registrations and payments.
· Schedule conference rooms, prepare weekly calendar for conference rooms.
· Prepares upcoming events calendar.
· Prepares reception area.
· Invoicing.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of high school education. Knowledge of basic secretarial skills; strong typing and knowledge of Word and Excel; good grasp of basic grammar and spelling; pleasant telephone voice and manner. Ability to get along well with others. Handles assignments of a confidential nature requiring considerable use of discretion.

Pay: $28,000.00 - $32,000.00 per year
