POSITION DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE : Mechanic
F.L.S.A. Non-Exempt
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Must obtain and maintain a AZ DPS IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (required).
- Properly licensed to operate vehicle.
- Demonstrates aptitude and competence for automotive, tractor, turf equipment repair, welding and mechanical problem solving.
- A minimum five (5) years experience and / or vocational courses and related certification preferred.
- Must have excellent communication skills, be team oriented; neat in appearance, dependable, and punctual; helpful and pleasant in dealing with people.
- Must have the ability to lift a minimum of 60 pounds repeatedly and to turn, twist, and bend as required to operate equipment and perform duties.
REPORT TO : Supervisor - Maintenance Operations
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT : Twelve-month (261 days). Salary and work year to be established by the Board of Education. Benefits according to the Classified Agreement.
