Buckeye Fire Equipment company is currently searching for candidates who are looking to advance their career with an innovation-driven company as an Automation Controls Technician.
The Automation Controls Technician is responsible for building control panels, A-B PLC and HMI programming, and maintaining automated machines and equipment using their technical skills and knowledge.
Essential Functions:
- Build custom panels designed for and by Buckeye for production use.
- Program and maintain automated machines utilizing equipment such as programmable controllers, HMI’s, servos, and VFD's.
- Perform machine and control panel wiring.
- Diagnose, replace, and repair faulty mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components of machines and equipment throughout the plant.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with a high level of programming knowledge and experience. This position provides several immediate career path level options, based on experience, and has a strong potential to grow and develop into a leadership role within the team.
In addition, the ideal candidate has:
- A two-year technical degree; prefer four-year degree in related field, or relevant work experience may substitute for degree.
