Description
Full-time employees are eligible for a weekly attendance bonus! Eligible employees can receive an additional $1 per hour, for every hour worked, in addition to their hourly wages for working their scheduled shift.
Responsibilities:
- Operates cylinder extrusion presses, which includes loading metal plates into the machine and unloading cylinders produced by the machine
- Dimensional and visual inspection of cylinders produced
- Tracks hourly production, makes calculations, and legibly records results
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned by supervision
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret document such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, and able to walk, reach up and reach down.
- Able to lift 35 lbs., and able to swing a dead blow hammer to tighten machine screws
- Accountable for maintaining a safe work environment
- Wear all required PPE associated with the material.
- Ability to speak effectively to co-workers.
