Description
We are searching for a Machine Operator for our Automated Weld Lines to join our growing team!
Full-time employees are eligible for a weekly attendance bonus! Eligible employees can receive an additional $1 per hour, for every hour worked, in addition to their hourly wages for working their scheduled shift.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes Human Machine Interface (HMI) to operate equipment and make adjustments as needed
- Ensures quality of product by measuring equipment to ensure proper product specifications are met
- Responsible for visual inspection of welds and cosmetic appearance of product
- Utilizes hand tools to make minor repairs or adjustments, as needed
- Processes product logs to ensure consistency and quality
- May be required to perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
- Prior HMI experience is a plus. Eagerness to learn HMI is required
- Mechanically inclined is a plus to understand equipment operation
- Ability to Lift 50 pounds
- Flexibility to rotate to a different operation within the facility as needed
- Ability to work overtime on the weekend as business conditions indicate
- Willingness to cross train on numerous product lines
- Ability to work well in teams
- Ability to communicate with urgency to team leader / supervisor on any nonconforming issues as they arrive
