**Job Description**
This role plays a critical part in the development, testing, and optimization of firefighting foam products, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating raw materials and surfactants to optimize foam expansion, drain time, and suppression effectiveness.
- Conducting performance testing to ensure compliance with UL, NFPA, ICAO, and MIL-SPEC standards.
- Maintaining regulatory approvals and listings by working closely with certification bodies.
- Collaborating with quality control teams to monitor production consistency and troubleshoot any formulation issues.
- Providing technical support to customers, distributors, and sales teams regarding foam applications and compatibility.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 5 years of experience in firefighting foam development, testing, or application.
