Job Description :
The Assistant Manager, Human Resources, is responsible for supporting HR Generalist initiatives within a Distribution Center. This role works closely with the HR Director, HR AVP, and Site Leadership to implement the local human resource and talent strategies.
Position Responsibilities :
- Provide support, advice, and recommendations in all areas of Human Resources-related programs and policies.
- Work with management to advise on employee coaching strategies and coordinate performance improvement plans and other disciplinary programs as needed.
- Forge and cultivate partnerships with temp labor vendors, local universities, and community agencies.
- Lead or participate in special projects and champion in-house cultural initiatives.
- Initiate HRIS transactions, ensuring accurate data for new hires, terminations, job changes, salary modifications, and other job-related actions.
- Maintain the full-cycle recruitment process to meet talent acquisition goals across all levels within multiple functional areas.
- Conduct recruitment and staffing logistics, maintaining accurate and timely job postings, screening candidates, and managing sourcing efforts with the assigned Recruiter.
- Ensure the completion and accuracy of all new hire files and conduct audits as needed or directed.
- Administer and maintain new hire orientation and integration programs.
- Support the employee payroll process for operations.
