Job Title: SAP HR Analyst I
Job Duration: 6 Months Contract W2
Job Location: Tampa, FL 33607-5776 (Hybrid)
Note:
Hybrid Schedule
- In-office two Fridays a month
- Every processing day
- Every Tuesday and one Thursday a month
- Overall: Two days remote and three days in-office.
Manager Requirements:
- Candidates must have knowledge of reciprocities and understand living and working in different jurisdictions.
- Familiarity with how to locate specific state/local tax laws is essential.

- Payroll experience: understanding pretax items' impact on wages, payroll adjustments, etc.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service excellence to the client USA employee population.
- Manage all aspects of payroll processing and compliance, answering employee inquiries related to HR, payroll, and time policies in a complex, multi-state environment.
- Perform quality reviews of payroll Specialist & Sr Specialist work.
- Administer Pay Cycle process (Verify, Calculate & Preview).
- Handle Garnishment order administration.
- Interpret internal and external payroll, time & labour laws, policies, and practices to ensure compliance.
- Answer incoming calls.
- Complete and review payroll calculations for retroactive payroll adjustments, leaves, terminations, and other exceptions.
- Administer pay cycle batch data input to payroll systems for miscellaneous payments and changes, including deductions and tax withholding.
- Audit data interfaced from HR systems into payroll systems (e.g., salary and tax status).
- Check, audit, and maintain payroll & timekeeping records in accordance with established standards.
- Complete payroll cycle audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
Required Qualifications:
- HS diploma or equivalent with 5 years of experience in the payroll profession.
- Experience with multi-state large employers.
- Garnishment processing expertise.
- Extensive knowledge of payroll & time systems.
- Experience with multi-state tax calculations.
- Experience in Short-Term Disability Calculation, including offsets.
- Experience with Overpayment Calculation and Recovery.
- Knowledge of Salary Prorations.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Physical in-office presence.
- Flexible work schedule to accommodate West Coast employees.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex, deadline-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) and/or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC).
- Experience with ADP Vantage Payroll & Vantage Time Platform.
