Job Title: Patient Escort/Patient Transporter
Job Duration: 4 Months Contract – W2
Job location: Houston, TX 77030 (Onsite)
Job Summary:
As a Patient Escort, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely movement of patients within a healthcare facility. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients from one location to another, providing support and comfort throughout the process.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport patients to various areas within the hospital premises
- Assist patients with mobility needs, such as using wheelchairs or stretchers
- Communicate effectively with healthcare staff to coordinate patient transfers
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients during transit
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient transport equipment
Requirements:
- Experience or training in patient care or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of basic life support procedures is advantageous
- Familiarity with critical care transport protocols is a plus
- Understanding of hospital layout and departments is beneficial
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy towards patients
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Rotating shift
- Rotating weekends
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Patient Transporter/Patient Transportation/Patient Escort: 4 years (Required)
- Wheelchair/Stretcher/Hydraulic stretcher: 4 years (Required)
